A few teething problems

Did I mention it's my first time coding anything? Turns out there were a few things wrong with the code, kind of like when you put too much salt in a recipe - it tastes OK but not great.
Hopefully things are fixed-ish. I'm gonna keep working on stuff. I know how frustrating server errors are etc but hey, that's why it's alpha right :-p

PS - if you know anything about python and app engine here are some of the issues I'm facing:
Pickling errors on user pages
Multiline text property errors on list pages
